CHIL wants you in the Parade!
Longmont Lights kicks off with the annual Tree Lighting at 6 pm on Friday, December 3, at 6th Avenue and Main Street. On Friday, December 10, from 5 to 8 pm, Roosevelt Park will host the annual Longmont Lights celebration with Santa’s Workshop at the Memorial Building. Enjoy carriage rides, hot cocoa and the warmth of fire pits around the park.
At 6:30 pm, watch the free Holiday Ice Show at the Pavilion or hear the All Star Jazz Band at the Senior Center. A pyrotechnic parachute drop will close out the evening at 8 pm. On Saturday, December 11, festivities begin at 5 pm with the annual Parade of Lights on Main Street. After the parade enjoy the Longmont Concert Band from 6:45 to 8 pm at the Senior Center. The park will once again host hot cocoa, firepits and entertainment, as well as a fireworks show at 6:30 pm.
